Online CCW Renewal/Initial Course
Online training at your own pace and on your own time!
Effective January 1, 2024 the new laws governing CCW applicants and current holders. The law requires Initial applicants to take a 16-hour Class. CCW Renewals are required to take an eight (8) hour Class. The class includes an hour on mental health, and qualification with each firearm to be listed on your CCW Permit.
We have developed an online course which allows you to complete the majority of the course online at your own pace and on your own time. Upon completion of the in-person segment, you will be issued a completion certificate that you will provide to the CCW permitting agency.
The on-line class is available for the clients to take the course at their own speed, meaning you can do it all at once or one segment at a time, whatever is convenient. Once the course is completed you receive certification to attend the qualification at a location to be determined, which shouldn’t take more than an hour for Renewals. The New applicant will take the remaining 6 hours at the location to be determined.
The reasons STTARR went to the online classroom presentation are :
* Easier and more convenient for you, than sitting in a classroom environment
* Test is completed after each segment (Common sense questions)
* The mental health component is taught by a professional in that field
* Ability to keep the cost down and reasonable for you
* Providing easier capabilities to use the Range Facilities

A PHOTO I.D. IS REQUIRED FOR ALL CLASSES- Please bring your Drivers License or Passport to Class.
CANCELLATION POLICY
STTARR Classes fill up FAST! Your paid fee or deposit reserves a seat for you in the class you enroll in. If you have registered for a course (paid in full) and cannot attend, you will receive full credit to attend a later course within the same calendar year as long as you contact us via email, telephone, or in person 24 hours before the start of your registered course. If you pay a $25 deposit for any class, you deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE in the event you don't attend the class. Balance of the class fee is due on the day of the class. STTARR Firearms Instructor reserves the right to refuse training to anyone who does not display the maturity or attitude of a responsible gun owner.
*** MULTI-STATE CCW OPTION *** Students have the option of also obtaining Arizona Concealed Firearm Permit application certification by attending the STTARR CCW Course. The fee for this is only $30 and is payable with cash, check, or money order on the day of the course. Valid in approximately 31 states, including Nevada, applied for entirely through the mail and reasonably priced, the Arizona permit is a great value for those wishing to lawfully carry in additional states.
